Join us for a free introduction to a program designed to make clean eating a way of life. Odds are you have been a successful follower of Weight Watchers, Slimming World, Unislim – or others – but still struggle with food choices. It’s still a diet, not really a way of life.
“It’s Not What You’re Eating, It’s What’s Eating You” by Janet Greeson – sums it up in the title. Food is a substance that like drugs or alcohol, numbs us to the nagging voice within that tells us something is not quite right. The obstacle to making peace with food is making peace with ourselves.
The popularity of diet books, self help books and programs is owed to the fact that we recognise ourselves and our behaviours and want to change.

If the obstacles to change in your life are the habits and thinking of a lifetime, then consider a structured and disciplined approach to unblocking them. We are not offering a diet. You have probably determined which one works, when you work it, for you.
We are offering tools and a safe environment to explore our negative self talk, our triggers and our habits. We will make changes – tiny changes one day and one week at a time. We will share experience and support – like minded folk with the same struggles. The struggle to make every meal and every snack – just food.
Join us - Tuesday, 28 Sept from 7- 9:30pm. We meet at the Carrickdale Hotel, conveniently located between Dundalk and Newry, exit 20 on the M1 motorway. We will share the tools to make the changes, step by step. You can take these tools and work them on your own – form small groups and lend mutual support.
And if you decide a facilitated group is for you – the discipline of weekly meetings and review (no weigh ins, no goals, no judgments!) – then think about joining day or evening groups now forming in Newry, Dundalk and Carlingford.

The method combines much of the wisdom shared by Janet Greeson in It’s Not What You’re Eating, It’s What’s Eating You; Julia Cameron in The Writing Diet based on her pivotal work The Artist’s Way; Geneen Roth in Women Food & God. The group however, is not limited to women and we will not be preaching anything except the gifts of sharing our own experience.
